02 · The Moment
You can feel it. So can we. Strip away the noise, and the real story of our time is astonishing: never in human history have we been healthier, better educated, more connected — or more capable of solving what’s in front of us.
How far we’ve already come
1 in 12
People living in extreme poverty today — down from nearly 4 in 10 in 1990.
World Bank, 2031

And yes — the challenges are real, they are pressing, and they are existential.
Climate. Conflict. Inequality. No one here looks away from them.
But hear this just as clearly: not one of them is beyond us.
Every one of them is solvable — by people acting together, at scale. And people everywhere are already moving —

Together, we can — we must — assure an Age of Thriving for all. Not someday — by 2035, three years from now. And that Thriving starts with you.
Our promise — made at launch, 2027
"Five years from now, you will be materially better off — by your own definition of better, not ours — with UnitedPeoples than without it."
Five years on: 81% of members at their five-year mark say it was kept — by their own definition, measured by their own THRIVE Plan. Now we make it to you.
Act II · Belonging
Who this is for — and who's already here
03 · Who UP is for
Not a type. A temperament. The people who stay late because the kids are worth it, who fix what's broken without being asked, who'd rather build something than win an argument. Teachers and tradespeople, clinicians and coders, parents and public servants — every walk of life, one instinct in common: care, followed by action.
To be clear about what this is and isn't: UP has no political ideology. No party, no side, no line to toe — you'll never be told what to think. But it is not neutral. It stands, without apology, on a handful of values — dignity, honesty, care for people and place — and it asks every member to stand there too.
And be equally clear about the ambition: it is revolutionary. Repairing the climate within a decade is revolutionary. So is a world where no one's dignity depends on luck. We want everything revolutions promise — with none of what they cost. No trauma, no wreckage, no roll of the dice. We build our way there.
If that's where you already stand — welcome home. You always belonged here; you've just been busy, and nothing was built for you. Now it is. Built for you.

Act III · How it works
Circles, Projects, and what membership returns
04 · How it works
It starts with people — members support members, the first commitment we make to each other — and it runs on one connected system.
Two minutes. Verified adults, 18+. NAVi greets you at the door.
Free*Community first. Join the conversations, the town halls, your street — be an active part of the HUB from day one.
269,000 active CirclesWith NAVi and your peers behind you — health, learning, livelihood, purpose. Your whole life, one living plan.
Members support membersTime-bound, member-led, delivered — food rescued, parks restored, ventures launched.
663K this yearCrowdfunding, microloans and member funds, woven into membership.
Median 11 days to first capitalEvidence, not anecdotes. Every result goes on the record.
74% succeed — up from 58%…and the loop closes
Every verified Project sharpens NAVi's playbooks for the next one. The system learns.
Each piece exists somewhere in the world. Nowhere else do they work as one.
Circles · at every scale
Everything on UP happens in Circles — from fifteen world-spanning domains down to twelve neighbours on your street. You belong at every scale at once. That's your weave.
The dotted line is you — your weave through every layer
Missions
What each domain commits to advance — 10–15 enduring Missions per GlobalCircle, authored with UP College's 150 Thought Leaders. Every Project below traces to one.
15 domains · the full span of human endeavour
Open to every member — most people pick three or four. Millions of members each, hosting the big conversations of their domain.
26,000 live today
A few hundred peers on the thing you care about — urban food rescue, adult literacy, placemaking. Member-organised, inside the domains you picked.
98,000 live today
Your employer, your university, your city — institutions hosting their own people on UP, working in the open.
145,000 live today
Your street, by choice — about one member in four takes a seat. Fully autonomous, on their own map, woven back in through you and your Projects.
Same DNA at every scale.
Every Circle — all 269,000 of them — runs the same monthly CONNECT and holds the same Tenets, whether it's millions of members or twelve neighbours.
08 · Projects in action
A Project is how your ideas become real — a business, a service, a policy, a programme inside your employer — with peer support, funding, and a global community behind you.
From Missions, downward
GlobalCircles hold the Missions; your ThemedCircles and BrandedCircles turn them into Projects — ventures members launch, partnerships with NGOs, companies and governments, and gaps no one else is filling.
From your street, upward
LocalCircles start Projects from neighbourhood need — fully their own call — and tag them to the wider Circles so the whole lattice can see, back and copy them.
The Project
Time-bound · sponsored · peer-endorsed · Mission-tracked
Every Circle keeps at least one Project live at all times — 663K launched this year. Without Projects, this would be a discussion forum.

09 · The returns
Real skill and judgement, compounded through THRIVE, mentorship, and Projects that stretch you.
Depth most platforms can't reach — mentors, peers from 15 domains, institutions that show up.
UP Points, paid roles, Project funding — warm introductions, small grants, credit and procurement become routine rather than rare.
Purpose inside the work. Belonging without factional identity. Recognition tied to contribution.
This is the oldest kind of community promise — mutual societies, savings circles, congregations — kept now at planetary scale. Your THRIVE Plan tracks all four returns, on your definition, year on year. It's how we knew we kept the Promise.
05 · The HUB
This is the HUB — your home inside UnitedPeoples. What you see here is what members live in, every day.
1234567Circles & community · THRIVE & peer support · Projects & funding · NAVi · ENN · UP Academe · Marketplaces · Worth Sharing · UP Points · Museum of Leadership · your money — one place.
Act IV · What we stand on
The Tenets — and what UP will never be
10 · Pathways
Be clear about why people join. Members are here to assure an Age of Thriving for all by 2035 — and to build a better life for themselves and their families along the way. The two aren't in tension. They're the same work.
And mind that word: assure. Not hope for. Not cheer on. Assure.
So membership gives first — your community, your THRIVE Plan, peers who genuinely show up, all of it free. And then it asks something real of you in return: carry a piece of it. Serious business, joyfully run.
Five ways to carry it — everyone starts at A, and most ladder across the others over time.
Show up
Be an active part of the HUB from day one — follow your Circles, join the conversations and town halls, as quietly or as loudly as you like. Community is the first act of membership.
Grow
Build your THRIVE Plan — and back the people building theirs. Members support members.
Build
Launch or join a Project — give the idea you've been carrying a team, a plan, and funding.
Host
Enable a Circle — convene the room, set the tone, keep the flame.
Back
Contribute resources — fund Projects, mentor builders, lend your skill and standing.
It's why membership here is pledged, not purchased — the covenant is next.
11 · What we stand for
Not values on a wall. A covenant — the same words, whether you join in Lagos or Lisbon. Every member affirms them; every Circle answers to them; every Project is tested against them.
Purpose
The Moonshot
To catalyse an Age of Thriving by 2035.
Values
The Charter
Twelve commitments — the ethical baseline. Set out in full, here.
Practice
First Principles
Eight disciplines for how we work — common impact, not ideology.
Personal
The Membership Pledge
Each member's promise — and it begins: support your fellow members.
26.4M signatures. One text.
And where tension arises between expediency and the Charter — the Charter holds.
The Charter
Affirmed verbatim by every member
We believe we are each held to be responsible for, and accountable to, ourselves and each other. Thus empowered, we are obligated to conduct ourselves to better enable a future where in spirit and practice:
All persons are equal.
There is no basis for discrimination, prejudice, or violence against any person.
All persons have access to and enjoy the same voting rights.
All persons are free to express themselves as they wish, without threat, harm, or other negative repercussions.
All persons have the right to, and enjoyment of, personal security and property protection.
All persons have access to and enjoy the same right to privacy.
All persons have access to nutritious and affordable food, clean water, and clean air.
All persons have access to such education as is necessary to realize one's needs and desires.
All persons have access to healthcare that provides for a long and well-lived life.
All persons can pursue a livelihood that provides for a productive, accomplished, and rewarding life, lived with dignity.
Those who cannot provide for themselves can access such means as allows for a life that is productive, accomplished and rewarding and lived with dignity.
The natural world, including species and eco-systems, is precious and worthy of protection.
12 · What UP is not
The easiest way to misunderstand UP is to assume it's one of the things it has chosen not to be.
Not a movement
Movements peak and scatter. Institutions keep. UP is built to still be here when your grandchildren need it.
Not an NGO
No one here delivers change on your behalf. Members act — the institution equips them.
Not a social network
Nothing here is optimised for your attention. Everything is optimised for your outcomes.
Not a loyalty programme
UP Points recognise contribution, not consumption. Standing here can't be bought.
Not a political project
No party, no side, no endorsements — ever. Our commitments live in the Charter, not a manifesto.
So what is it?
An institution — the patient kind.
Mission-locked in law, answerable to its members, built for the long road to 2035 and far beyond. Humanity's Plan B — five years under construction, and working.
Act V · Join
Free, precisely — and how to begin
13 · Free, precisely
Every "free" you've ever met came with fine print that made it worse. Ours makes it better. Here it is — all of it:
Everything we launch with stays free — forever.
Premium comes later, and only ever as additions — never a paywall on what you already have.
You will never be charged for something you were using free.
The question you should ask
"Free usually means I'm the product."
Not here. No ads. No data brokers. NAVi answers to you and is never sold to advertisers. Your data is never the product — and that's not a policy that can quietly change. It's written into our constitution.
So who pays?
We do — together. It starts with showing up: everyday participation becomes everyday economic life — banking, marketplaces, services — and the profit returns, by constitutional covenant, to keep the door free for everyone. It's why Amara in Lagos joined the day she turned 18 on exactly the same terms as anyone, anywhere. You build a better life for yourself and your family; that very thriving holds the door open for the next member. That's how "for all" is engineered, not wished — an Age of Thriving for all by 2035.
8.9M members already move money through UP. The engine isn't a plan — it's running.
Demonstration
This is the UP HUB as we imagine it in 2032 — 26.4 million members in — not the organisation as it exists today. The architecture is designed; the members, Circles and Projects you’ll meet are illustrative. What you’re about to see is the future state we are raising founding capital to build.
The demonstration has two parts. First, the public face — the journey from stranger to member. This half performs itself: the enrolment fills in before your eyes — sit back and watch. Then, the HUB itself — the member experience, seen through the eyes of one member: Erin Smith of Amsterdam, five years in. That half is yours — click around and explore freely. And to move back and forth at your own pace, use the small Demo navigator in the bottom-left corner — it walks the whole journey, in either direction.
A note on how it works: this is a demonstration, not a finished product. Much of what you see is display only. Where something is live, your cursor will tell you — the hand icon means click. All members, Circles, Projects, brands and figures are illustrative, derived from the UnitedPeoples operating model. No brand shown is intended to suggest endorsement or support, implied or explicit — brands appear for illustrative purposes only.
One thing is already real: NAVi, the AI companion. Talk to it at any point.
And if you've arrived here first: this is the model suite. The case for building it — the plan, the numbers, the invitation — lives at unitedpeoples.earth.
